The Link Between Your Back and Bowels
Specialized nerve cells in your intestine, called ganglion cells, are responsible for the pushing of the muscles. These nerves connect to the celiac ganglion, which assists the operation of your stomach, liver, gallbladder, spleen, kidney, small intestine, and ascending and traverse colon.
In turn, the celiac ganglion connects the spinal cord and brain to the lower thoracic and upper lumbar regions of your back. If there is pressure on these nerve roots due to a misalignment of your spine, you may experience a dysfunction such as constipation.

I knew that this could not be the best solution and it was only masking the problem. I began seeing a chiropractor before she was born and was adjusted throughout my pregnancy.
